Their aligned mission breaks the stigma that people of different races can’t work together. Denver is a catalyst for the direction the fashion and beauty industry can and should be moving towards, where race is represented, from hair and makeup to models and designers.
At the philanthropic Matthew Morris Anniversary and Scholarship Show on September 22, in partnership with Color of Fashion, attendees will enjoy artistic brilliance in a nostalgic setting as visionary designers present breathtaking designs. “Carnaval” promises a dynamic evening with jaw-dropping segments from renowned designers, including Utierre, Menez to Society, Soid Studios NY, Sprayground, Art of Hannah Jane, and Frisk Me Good. The night’s proceeds will be donated to the Matthew Morris Scholarship Fund, which supports enrollment for members of the BIPOC community at Elevate Salon Institute.
Individuals from diverse backgrounds can access Elevate Salon Institute through the Matthew Morris Scholarship Fund, a progressive institution that teaches techniques across multiple hair types and styles.
