New York, NY, August 07, 2017 –(PR.com)– “Nothing unimportant ever happens at The Plaza,” stated F. Scott Fitzgerald, during the time he maintained a residence there. Since its debut on October 1, 1907, The Plaza has been a New York icon that has hosted world leaders, dignitaries, captains of industry, Broadway legends and Hollywood royalty. The extraordinary property is an established staple for lavish society affairs, blockbuster films, and some of New York City's most memorable moments.

The Plaza has the great fortune to enjoy the legacy of these documented milestones, but, they alone are merely a fraction of all that has happened in the castle on Central Park South. It is you, the patrons of The Plaza, who have turned moments into memories each time you have walked through The Plaza's front doors.

If walls could talk – an oft used phrase, indeed reminds us of what remains undiscovered. In celebration of The Plaza’s 110th anniversary, they look to you to help create a tribute to The Plaza that showcases its history and style through the years.

The Plaza is looking to collect and display historic items that showcase the stories that are at the heart of its legacy. You are invited to donate or loan your hotel memorabilia from famed parties and celebrations, tea service, banquet elements, building artifacts and amenities, ephemera, culinary feats, and historic photographs, and more.

During the campaign, submissions will be evaluated and the best ones will be displayed on the hotel’s social media pages. The very best ones will be showcased in a culminating special exhibition at The Plaza Hotel during the 2017 winter season with donor names listed to critical acclaim.
