PlayMakers Preschool makes play-based learning the standard for early childhood education

SANTA CLARITA, CA, March 23, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — PlayMakers Preschool, formerly Little iLEADers, announced they had changed their name to reflect their core values and philosophy better.

“The name PlayMakers reflects who we are and what we value… Play!” said the director of early childhood education programs, Wendy Ruiz. “We feel that this name fits us!”

PlayMakers Preschool has served families in the local community for the past six years and has gained a reputation for its play-based approach to early childhood education. The school’s curriculum encourages children to become active learners by engaging in hands-on activities that promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration.

“Observing our learners build strong relationships with each other and with their facilitators, all while being free to discover the world around them at their own pace, is why play is so important for young children,” said the school’s director, Candice Butera.

“When children discover their passions, learning comes organically and naturally. I get to see learners who discover they love dinosaurs, for instance. From there, they learn math concepts like size and shape, science concepts like what different kinds of animals eat or where they live, vocabulary expansion with the thousands of species, develop gross motor skills with dinosaur stomps, and so much more! ” explained Butera.

PlayMakers Preschool offers infant/toddler, preschool, and school-age (formerly iCreate) programs for children six weeks old to 6th grade, including half-day and full-day programs. Dedicated to providing high-quality education, the school’s experienced teachers help children reach their full potential.
