Celebrate Market Days August 11 and 12 at Lark in Chicago

Start your Market Days celebration early with Lark’s famous Brunch, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Brunch on Saturday is Disco Brunch, featuring cool dance tracks and videos from the 70’s and 80’s. Sunday is Queens of Pop Brunch—move your body to the songs of Beyonce, Whiney, Britney, Madonna, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Adele, Sia and more.
Lark’s brunch menu offers a wide range of “best of” comfort foods, perfect for getting your engines revved up for a day of street fair mayhem. Enjoy bottomless Mimosas and Bellinis, too, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Throughout the rest of the day, you can enjoy Lark’s great food two ways. First, you can purchase Lark’s delicious Neapolitan-style pizza, served all day at a special Market Days pizza window. Choose from the Margherita, Meat Lovers or Prosciutto & Arugula creations ($14, $17, $15), all baked in the Italian wood-fired oven.
If you prefer to come on in and enjoy the full Lark experience, there will be a special Market Days menu, featuring some of the most popular choices from the regular menu. Come and get your groove on in Lark’s gorgeous and spacious outdoor patio, the largest in Boystown. Deejay Laura Bee will be on hand both Saturday and Sunday of Market Days, beginning from 3 p.m. until late, spinning your favorite Queen of Pops tunes in her outrageous style.
The special Market Days menu features the best of Lark’s great signature dishes
Great starters include Pesto Arancini ($11) crispy risotto balls stuffed with pesto and served with marinara; Meatballs ($11), Applewood smoked bacon and beef meatballs with marinara sauce, shaved parmesan and fresh basil, served with grilled crostini.
Another perfect accompaniment to Lark’s great cocktails are the Nachos (prepared with tortilla chips, $12)) and Totchos (prepared with tasty tater tots, $13). Your choice of toppings includes homemade cheese sauce or shredded cheese with guacamole, pico de gallo, pickled peppers, sour cream and salsa verde. You can add grilled chicken, grilled shrimp or grilled steak for a small up-charge.
Sandwich selections include Grilled Chicken Pesto ($14), with fresh mozzarella, pesto, aioli, tomato and arugula on tomato focaccia; the Roasted Turkey Club ($14), with applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on multigrain bread; and the Chicken Parmesan ($15), with breaded chicken, marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella, arugula and tomato on tomato focaccia.
If you’re in the mood for a big, juicy Market Days burger, Lark has you covered. Choose the Lark Smash ($16), made with two ¼ pound burgers, applewood smoked bacon, ham, white cheddar cheese, crispy onion rings, lettuce tomato and onions on a buttery brioche bun. Another winner is the very popular and tasty Beyond Burger ($15), a vegan creation made with a ½ pound Beyond burger, avocado, cashew “cheese” sauce pickled sweet peppers, lettuce, tomato and onions on ciabatta.
Market Days entrées include the flavorful Spring Frittata ($14), an asparagus, baby arugula, cherry tomatoes, and goat cheese frittata over a mixed green salad with tarragon vinaigrette; the Steak & Frites ($20) which are a crowd favorite, featuring a grilled skirt steak with garlic butter and lemon aioli. Seafood lovers will feast on the Lark Seafood Pasta ($17), with shrimp, calamari, and mussels sautéed with garlic and shallots in mezzi rigatoni and vodka tomato sauce.
