On February 18, 2023 the KAILASA® Om Awards Ceremony was held on the most auspicious celebration of Mahaparamashivaratri, the cosmic celebration of Paramashiva taking the form of an endless shaft of light spanning earth and sky

LOS ANGELES, CA, February 20, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — With the grace and blessings of The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Nithyananda Paramashivam, SHRIKAILASA’s Department of Religion and Worship and the SHRIKAILASA Uniting Nations (SKUN) for Global Peace and Religious Harmony hosted the Virtual Global Peace Conclave and the KAILASA Om Award Ceremony on the auspicious occasion of Mahaparamashivaratri.

Mahaparamashivaratri is the day to celebrate the enlightenment, state, space, powers and being of Paramashiva, the Primordial Hindu Divinity, and achieve the ultimate for ourselves and for the world. Mahaparamashivaratri is the preeminent annual Hindu celebration observed by millions of Hindus.

The ancient holy scripture of Hinduism, Arunachala Puran, depicts the historic happening of Mahaparamashivaratri as Paramashiva taking the form of an endless shaft of light spanning earth and sky. Every year on Mahaparamashivaratri, by a most rare and auspicious alignment of cosmic forces, a tiny reflection of the same explosion of Superconscious energy happens thereby removing the darkness of ignorance and giving Enlightenment to the whole Cosmos and to all of humanity, creating a more peaceful, blissful and united world.

In His Live Presidential Address during the KAILASA Om Awards ceremony, The SPH shared that Mahaparamashivaratri marks the auspicious occasion when Paramashiva manifested into this manifest Universe as Lingodbhava – the original cosmic big bang event. It is on this very day that timelessness entered into time, formlessness entered into form, namelessness entered into name, and spacelessness entered into space.

Although our brain’s ability to conceptualize formlessness is limited, our individual consciousness is hardwired and capable of reflecting Paramashiva, and our brain is capable of mirroring the neuron activity of Paramashiva. The SPH reminds us that Mahaparamashivaratri is the opportunity to meditate on, bow down to, connect with, worship and radiate Paramashiva to manifest the ultimate in our very being.

The SPH initiated millions of viewers into a powerful meditation process – Paramashivakundalini Dhyan – destroying collective negativity, permanently establishing the energy and experience of Paramashiva as Lingodbhava, and giving Enlightenment to the whole Cosmos and to all of humanity, thereby creating a more peaceful, blissful and united world.

Mahaparamashivaratri is grandly celebrated through various ancient indigenous sacred Hindu rituals across the globe under the auspices of The SPH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam including: Jaama Abhishekam, Kalasha Puja, Deeparthana, Dakshinamoorthy Puja, Special Rudra Abhishekam, Pratyaksha Pada Puja to The SPH, Tulabharam and Darbar.
