This annual survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the accounting profession. This award is an independent research-driven program from Best Companies Group which ranks companies based on established research methodology.

In 2023, nearly 250 firms across the United States participated in a two-part survey process to determine who would be named this year’s Best Accounting Firms to Work For. The first part, worth approximately 25% of the total score, evaluated each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part, worth approximately 75%, is an employee survey which measured employee satisfaction and employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. The final 2023 Best Firms to Work For list is comprised of 100 firms.
