Boca Raton, FL, October 12, 2017 –(PR.com)– The International MLS [IMLS] and FIABCI have announced today that it has signed a Global Partnership Agreement enabling IMLS to expand its global membership network through marketing tools provided by FIABCI.
The partnership will bring awareness to associations, developers, brokers and agents all over the world. The IMLS will be featured on the FIABCI website and there will be special offers for FIABCI members as well as the members of the associations all around the world. The IMLS will also be providing webinars as well as having The IMLS's CEO speaking at international events.
The IMLS will also be part of the FIABCI pavilion at MIPIM in Cannes, France in March 2018, which has more than 24,000 participants from more than 100 countries. MIPIM gathers the most influential players from all sectors of the international property industry for four days of networking, learning and transaction through premium events, conferences and dedicated exhibition zones.
The first MLS was created around 130 years ago, and while MLS’s in the USA now number around 700, most nations in the world do not have an MLS or a property sharing platform. The IMLS will enable agents and brokers in all of these countries to automatically collaborate and share their listings with each other.
According to The IMLS CEO/Founder, Dr. Daniel Nussbaum, "I am extremely humbled and gratified by the membership and active collaboration with FIABCI in order to make the dream and vision of The International MLS become a reality for everyone in the world. FIABCI is the largest and most prestigious real estate organization in the world, so this is a truly gratifying achievement for The IMLS. I want to thank everyone on our team who have worked so hard to make The IMLS a reality for everyone in the industry all around the world, and especially George Betz who is FIABCI's President of the Marketing & Networking Committee and President of FIABCI-UK.
"Twelve years ago, as a licensed real estate broker in California, I had a vision of bringing together the entire global real estate marketplace of agents, brokers, developers, associations, buyers and sellers in a true property sharing network platform which could be adaptable for all the different ways that real estate markets perform in various countries and regions. Eight years ago, we decided that with an acceptance that real estate transactions are conducted differently in various countries, that we need to come up with a blend of rules and actions that could work at a high level for everyone while accepting that there is and will never be a truly perfect system.
"While in the USA the MLS system and sharing of commissions is truly the accepted norm, most countries in the world do not even have an MLS, and the agents do not share commissions with other agents. Fact is, in many countries, licensure is not even a requirement to sell real estate, something we take for granted here in the United States. We are thrilled now that we have been accepted now at the very highest level globally with what we have created with not just our global portal but with our products and agent platform,” said Dr. Nussbaum.
According to the FIABCI World President Mr. Farook Mahmood, “Dan Nussbaum has presented the IMLS at the FIABCI World Congress in Andorra in May 2017. We have very much appreciated his willingness to join our Family and welcome the IMLS as Direct Corporate Member and Global Partner of FIABCI.”
