Orlando, FL, January 31, 2018 –(PR.com)– VERTICAL MEDICAL CITY, LLC, a new High Rise Development Project is coming to the core of Downtown Orlando.
A striking self-sustaining, patient-focused, advanced technology-driven facility, it will be made of a three-tower complex partly overlaid with a smart photo/wind cells skin; the towers will work in synchronicity to deliver from Critical to Preventative Care throughout over 2 million square feet, and over 40 stories, of biophilic and interactive environments.
The primary focus of the Facility is to bring into the urban core the Next Level Assisted Living, Care, and Wellness for Residents and Outpatients 60 and over.
A major Health System has stepped forward with intent to Lease 1 of the 3 Towers, to manage and operate the Emergency and Surgical Operations of the Project.
Additionally, negotiations have commenced for the purchase of the lot, as well as the Pre-Approval Process with the City of Orlando, the City’s Zoning Official, and all other jurisdictional parties with interest in the development including Green Works Orlando and Mayor Buddy Dyer’s Smart City effort, the Orlando Economic Partnership, and the Downtown Development Board.
Chris Castro, Director of Sustainability for the City of Orlando, shared VERTICAL MEDICAL CITY “would be a great addition to our City’s skyline.”
Castro and Ponte have agreed to move the project forward seeking a LEED Platinum Certification for the building, granted by the U.S. Green Building Council, making it the first LEED Platinum project in Downtown.
The Pre-Design Meeting for VERTICAL MEDICAL CITY is taking place this Thursday February 1st, and firms participating include PONTE HEALTH, P.A. as Architect and Design Lead, Stack Rock Group as Landscape Architect, Paul J Ford, TLC Engineering, and Jensen Hughes as Specialty Engineering Consultants, The Spinnaker Group as Specialty Sustainability Consultant, and M2O Technologies as Specialty Technology Consultant. Additional Specialty Consultants include Michael Sterner who is an Expert in Healthcare Kitchens, Farming, and Nutrition, having previously worked with a local Hospital System and in private cases; and may include Dr. David Eagleman a neuroscientist and adjunct professor at Stanford's Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, invited to help develop the interior and exterior environments to cater, alleviate, and aim to reverse the Residents and Outpatients Neurological Degenerative Conditions.
Developer PONTE HEALTH PROPERTIES, LLC seeks Equity Partner for the project, a person or group interested in jumping in; this Partner(s) will keep the Real Estate Land Lease upon completion, and a negotiable Percent of Profit of Operations.
