The report highlights a year of accomplishments and innovation for the State Office of Rural Health
AURORA, CO, September 07, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — The Colorado Rural Health Center (CRHC) recently released its Annual Report detailing the organization’s work across calendar year 2022. The nonprofit Colorado Rural Health Center serves as the State Office of Rural Health and the State Rural Health Association and is dedicated to enhancing healthcare services in the state by providing information, education, linkages, tools, and energy toward addressing rural health issues.
CRHC works with Federal, state, and local partners to offer services and resources to rural healthcare providers, facilities and communities. In 2022, CRHC invested 7.4 million dollars in rural communities across the state. The organization devoted 92 cents of every dollar to programing.
“In 2022, CRHC remained committed to the workforce crisis and produced a Recruitment and Retention Catalog that has been viewed nearly 1200 times. CRHC also conducted a workforce survey aimed at learning the biggest impacts on Recruitment and Retention,” said CRHC’s CEO, Michelle Mills, in her opening comments in the report. “As the Chief Executive Officer of CRHC, it is my honor and privilege to serve rural Colorado. With your ongoing support, CRHC will continue to be a voice and a resource.”
The report provides an overview of the accomplishments of Colorado’s State Office of Rural Health and Rural Health Association. This year’s report expounds on the group’s expansion of rural connectivity efforts, policy and advocacy efforts, quality improvement initiatives, Chronic Care Management (CCM), support for emergency personnel, events, and a review of funders and sponsors.
