Washington, USA – Chris Donaldson, a renowned filmmaker, writer, and cinematographer, recently formed TriBon Studios in 2021 and boasted a career spanning over 30 years in the film and entertainment industry. He is also setting up the first ever high school for performing arts, TriBon Academy, which will be in the TriBon Studios Campus; consisting of five soundstages, 15-acre backlots, 450 seated theatres, 5,000 seat arena, a 10,000 sq ft. eating gallery, parks, and recreation fields.

Chris started his career writing and producing music for recording artists under Atlantic, Warner Bros, and Virgin Records and found his passion for film production in the late 90s. In the early 2000s, he worked on various studio sets in Hollywood and produced/directed his first corporate commercials for Toyota and Subway; in 2007 opened the most prominent film/audio production studio in Southern MD.

“I’m grateful for the career I have had so far,” said Chris, born and raised in Philadelphia. “Over the years, I have got a chance to work with talented and amazing people in the industry who have taught me a lot and played a pivotal role in shaping my journey,” he added.

In 2013, Chris signed a multi-year distribution deal with the largest digital distributor globally, The Orchard / Sony Entertainment and released a multi-platinum Romania recording artist; Anda Adams, in the United States single ” Love On You” along with writing / directing Richmond VA recording artist TSoul with his single ” Complicated.”

Chris has also directed some trendy projects such as “Laughing In Kansas” with (Comedian Broderick Rice), All Men Rock (CBS), ran live pay-per-view at the SunTrust Arena Trenton, NJ, and the Zab Judah fight.

In a short period, TriBon studios have become a preferred production house; having contributed to major and indie feature films, television shows, corporate commercials, and music videos that have aired on such networks as; Starz, HBO, Lifetime, BET, Discovery, CW, CBS, Netflix, Amazon Prime, HULU and more. “The team at TriBon studios is highly skilled and experienced and is incredibly gifted at bringing vision to reality,” Chris added.
