The female entreprenuer talks about corporate wellness, self-talk and how our words are affecting our worth.
RALEIGH, NC, April 10, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ — After 15 years in Corporate America, Homsany experienced burnout and decided to pave her own path. She founded DAILY DOSE, a wellness company specializing in virtual wellness services aimed at preventing burnout among employees. As a self-taught wellness expert, Homsany recognized the significance of positive self-talk in combating burnout and enhancing mental well-being.
“Through my experiences with DAILY DOSE, I realized the power of self-talk in shaping our perceptions and behaviors,” said Homsany. “The prevalence of negative self-talk inspired me to write ‘You’re Not Lazy,’ a guide to transforming our inner dialogue and boosting self-worth.”
In “You’re Not Lazy,” Homsany explores the detrimental impact of negative self-talk and offers practical strategies to cultivate a more positive mindset. Drawing from her own journey and insights gained from DAILY DOSE, Homsany empowers readers to break free from self-limiting beliefs and unleash their full potential.
“Every day the average person has 60,000 thoughts. Even more astonishing though is 80% of those thoughts are negative. Subconsciously, this doesn’t faze us, but stop and take a moment to consciously reflect on that. Think about how if every time you had a thought it was negative? You would feel pretty bad about yourself, yet, this is exactly what we’re doing without even realizing it” says Homsany.
In the book, she compares re-working our self talk to going to the gym. “If you want to be physically fit, you work out. But what do you do to keep mentally healthy?” Homsany says we need to go to the “brain gym” by first having the awareness of this negative self-talk. In her book, she goes through steps to identify the most common phrases we tell ourselves and how to course correct in order to start having more positive self-talk to improve confidence and self-esteem.
Alongside her literary endeavors, Homsany embarked on an exhilarating journey to Tulsa, Oklahoma, as a contestant on “The Blox.” Over six intense days, she immersed herself in various business modules, completed assignments, and competed with 100 other entrepreneurs. Her participation in the incubator bootcamp has laid groundwork for the next phase of growth for DAILY DOSE as Homsany launches her new corporate workshop- “Empower Your Team: Improve productivity by building employee confidence.”
Homsany currently works with companies providing virtual wellness programs encompassing yoga, meditation, mindfulness, nutrition, ergonomics, and financial wellness. She also shares her expertise as a mental health speaker, addressing critical topics such as stress management, burnout, and safeguarding mental health.
To complement her newly published book, Homsany created a 90-day self-talk masterclass, providing additional support for individuals on their journey to self-discovery and empowerment.
If you’re ready to overcome imposter syndrome and perfectionism, and transform your self-talk to elevate your self-worth, ‘You’re Not Lazy’ is your guide. The book is available for purchase on Amazon and via www.georgiahomsany.com.
