Shareholder and Family Law Attorney Joins Commission Dedicated to Supporting the Well-Being of New Hampshire’s Legal Professionals
NASHUA, NH, April 10, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — Welts, White & Fontaine, P.C. is pleased to announce that shareholder Nicole Fontaine Dooley has been appointed by the New Hampshire Supreme Court to the New Hampshire Lawyers Assistance Program (NHLAP) Commission. Her three-year term begins March 1 and extends through February 28, 2029.

At Welts, White & Fontaine, P.C., Fontaine Dooley focuses her practice on commercial litigation and family law matters. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, she served as litigation counsel at WilmerHale in Boston, where she concentrated on intellectual property and complex commercial litigation. She earned her law degree, summa cum laude, from Boston College Law School, where she also served as executive articles editor of the Boston College Law Review. She holds a bachelor’s degree in community health and French from Tufts University.
Fontaine Dooley is admitted to practice in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. She also had the honor of working on a case argued before the U.S. Supreme Court.
NHLAP Executive Director Jill O’Neill highlighted Fontaine Dooley’s unique perspective in her nomination letter, noting her insights on the impact of stress on legal practitioners and her understanding of the challenges facing working parents in the profession. As both a family law attorney and a mother of two young children, she brings firsthand insight into the pressures facing today’s legal professionals, along with a personal and professional commitment to helping the program grow and evolve to meet their needs.
