Currently working with the modern day Beastie Boys, a Houston Texas Rap Group called DRANK; Hefe-Wine decided to rerelease “Pop My Trunk” featuring the new rappers. Why not? DRANK loved the song and Hefe-Wine’s biggest supporters (his two proteges & music producing sons) thought the original Pop My Trunk was amazing but felt once they put their twist on it that the track would be incredible.
After several hours in the studio ‘Pop My Trunk Reloaded’ was born. Produced by 10 & 11 yr old Manzo$Sabio, the youngest producers in the industry. Mixed by OVO’s Angie Randisi and mastered by Tim Boyce. The original ‘Pop My Trunk’ has been sampled by industry greats Travis Scott, Drake, and Lil Wayne in addition to Beyoncé featuring the song on her ‘Formation Tour.’
